Nisca Warthen
Nisca began her practice of Yoga in 1974 on the advice of her
physician. Experiencing the healing benefits of Yoga for herself
encouraged her to continue with her practice and studies with
workshops and classes in the Maryland/Washington,DC area until she
began professional training in 1999. Just a few of her certifications
include Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy training, Integrative Yoga
Therapy training,BodyTalk Modules 1 & 2, Thai Yoga Massage and
Energy Balancing Massage.
Nisca discovered a love of sharing Yoga with others and has been
sharing that love since 1999, first in Maryland and now in Montana.
The growth of that love is now manifested in the opening of Earth &
Sky Studio in Hot Springs, MT. Nisca offers massage & BodyTalk
sessions and teaches yoga at the studio. She also teaches yoga at
Salish-Kootenia College in Pablo,MT and at the Tribal Health & Fitness
center in St. Ignatius. Joining together her two loves of body
awareness and horses, she also teaches "Yoga for (horseback)
Riders" workshops in connection with her riding instruction.
Her mission is to facilitate individuals in their journey to wholeness
using Yoga and other mind-body techniques to remove restriction and
allow healing to return to the whole in abundance.
