Mariah began her martial arts studies in 1993 under Master
Randy Thomas and the Black Dragons Karate School. During
that time Mariah competed in the Rose City Nationals,
International Karate Federation Championship in Hawaii and
many other national and local events. She also had her own
kids karate class and traveled to the local elementary schools
to teach at their after school programs.
During the last few years, Mariah's focus was raising her 3
beautiful children an 2 nieces who are now participating in the
Kids Cardio Karate program with her. Mariah recently has
received Fitness Instructor training through the International
Fitness Association and plans to refresh and further her
martial arts training over the next few years and have her own
Karate Dojo one day.
Mariah is offering her Kids Cardio Karate class on Mondays
for ages 5-12 and a special summer peewee course for ages
3-5. Family discounts are available.
"Martial arts, the physical strength and discipline it requires is
a wonderful tool for kids of all ages. I feel kids today are
lacking physical activity and I believe my Kids Cardio Karate
class offers a fun way to teach them these valuable skills."
